(1) Ford writes that he is enclosing the three best seats he could get for the matineĢe; on letterhead of the Fifth Avenue Theatre, New York; (2) a telegram sent from Baltimore indicating that Ford's father died that morning; (3) refers to his father's recent death as well as a Booth memorial portrait to be placed in the reception room of the City hall; on letterhead of Ford's Grand Opera House, Baltimore.
